Steve Rowland
Stephen Jacob Rowland, born September 3, 1932, in Los Angeles, California, is an
American singer, musician, and record producer whose career spans several
decades. After achieving Spanish chart success with the group Los Flaps, he
moved to London during the Swinging Sixties and became a prolific producer. He
produced 13 UK Top Ten hits for Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick & Tich, including
“Hold Tight,” “Zabadak,” and the UK Number 1 song “The Legend of Xanadu.”
