Stephan Eicher is Swiss singer-songwriter who was born in Münchenbuchsee in 1960. He studied music and modern composing methods at the Academy of Art in Zurich, skills which served him well in his chosen career. Eicher cites a wide range of influences acquired through listening to music during his teenage years and these include Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, Patti Smith and Serge Gainsbourg.
