Stefán Hilmarsson, born on June 26, 1966 in Reykjavík, is an Icelandic musician
and translator. He began his music career in 1986, performing with the band
Sniglabandið. He represented Iceland at the 1988 Eurovision Song Contest with
the song "Þú og þeir" alongside Beathoven. Four years later, he returned to
Eurovision in 1992 with "Nina" performed with Eyjólfur Kristjánsson. Hilmarsson
released his solo album Líf in 1993 and followed with Eins og er... (1996),
Popplín (1997), Ein handa þér (2008), Húm (2009), Í desember (2014), and
