Stefan Gwildis, born October 22, 1958, in Hamburg, Germany, is a German musician
known for his work as a singer. He began his musical and performing journey by
singing at home and later received training in fencing and stunt scenes at the
Thalia Theater in Hamburg in 1979. In 1982, he co-founded the music duo
Aprillfrisch with Rolf Claussen. Gwildis' breakthrough came with his solo album
Neues Spiel (2003), which featured German covers of soul classics and achieved
significant success, spending 13 weeks in the album charts and earning him the
