Starflyer 59
Starflyer 59, an American alternative rock band, was formed in Riverside,
California, by guitarist and vocalist Jason Martin in 1993. After a demo
impressed Tooth & Nail Records founder Brandon Ebel, the band released its debut
Starflyer 59 in 1994, followed by Americana (1997). The 1998 release The Fashion
Focus added keyboards and a softer pop sensibility, while Leave Here A Stranger
(2001) was recorded in mono as a tribute to producer Gene Eugene. Later albums
include The Changing of the Guard (2010), IAMACEO (2013), Young in My Head
(2019), Vanity (2021), Lust for Gold (2024)...
