Thomas Hansen, born on February 13, 1976, in Oslo, Norway, was a Norwegian
musician known by the stage names St. Thomas and Saint Thomas. After a brief
football career with Skeid Oslo, he joined the Bergen band Emily Lang in 1999.
He had his breakthrough as a solo artist at the Quart Festival in 1999, where he
played demos during an after-party and was discovered by the record label Racing
Junior. His debut album Mysterious Walks (2000) was followed by the chart‑topper
The Cornerman EP (2001), which reached Number 8 in Norway and sold over 3,500
