SSV was a short-lived musical project formed in 1997 by Andrew Eldritch of The
Sisters of Mercy. The group consisted of Eldritch and Hamburg-based techno
producers Peter Bellendir and T. Schroeder. SSV served as a vehicle for Eldritch
to fulfill his contractual obligations with WEA after growing tired of the label
following the release of Vision Thing by The Sisters of Mercy in 1990. In 1997,
SSV recorded their only album, Go Figure, which was presented to East West
