Spoken was an American Christian rock group from Nashville, Tennessee, formed in
1996. Vocalist Matt Baird founded the band, which performed genres including nu
metal and post-hardcore. The group released its debut album On Your Feet through
Metro 1 Music in 1997. The band followed this with the albums ...What Remains
(1999) and Echoes of the Spirit Still Dwell (2000).In 2003, the group signed
with Tooth & Nail Records and released the album A Moment of Imperfect Clarity,
