Chrystia "Tia" Cabral, known professionally as Spellling, was born on May 18,
1991, in Sacramento, California. Raised in the Catholic Church, she later drew
from these influences in her music. Initially working as an elementary school
teacher, Cabral's musical journey began in 2015 after witnessing looped vocal
performances and the loss of a close friend. This led to the creation of Crayola
Church, a handmade CD project inspired by crayons. Cabral released her debut
