Spek
Hussain Yoosuf, born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, is a Canadian DJ and
electronic music artist who performs under the stage name Spek. He began rapping
at fourteen and joined the pioneering Canadian hip‑hop collective Dream
Warriors, contributing to their early releases in the mid‑1990s. Spek’s
breakthrough came with the 2001 EP Look Me Up and the single "I'm a Hippie",
which established his presence on the Canadian charts. In 2001 he released the
