Sounds Orchetral is a British orchestral group formed in 1964 by composer, arranger, producer and conductor John Schroeder and composer, pianist and conductor Johnny Pearson, also including studio musicians. Pye Records' response to competitor EMI's success with Sounds Incorporated, the band recorded a hit version of Vince Guaraldi's "Cast Your Fate to the Wind", which reached No. 1 on the Billboard Easy Listening chart, No. 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 5 in the UK in 1965.
