Shane Michael Boose, known professionally as Sombr, was born on July 5, 2005, in
New York City and raised on the Lower East Side. He adopted the stage name
"Sombr" upon releasing his debut single "Nothing Left to Say" in October 2021.
In September 2023, Sombr released his first extended play (EP), In Another Life,
co-produced by Tony Berg. In March 2025, Sombr gained widespread attention when
two of his songs, "Back to Friends" and "Undressed", went viral, leading to
