Sō Percussion is an American percussion quartet formed in 1999 and based in New
York City. The ensemble consisted of Josh Quillen, Adam Sliwinski, Jason
Treuting, and Eric Cha-Beach. The members established the group while studying
under Robert van Sice at the Yale School of Music. The quartet performed and
recorded works by composers including Steve Reich, David Lang, Caroline Shaw,
and Bryce Dessner. Its discography included the studio recordings Sō Percussion
(2004), Steve Reich: Drumming (2005), Amid the Noise (2006), and David Lang: The
Woodmans - Music From the Film (2011)....
