Snowman
Snowman were an Australian indie rock band formed in Perth, Western Australia,
in 2002. After winning The Next Big Thing competition in 2003, they released
their debut EP, Zombies on the Airwaves of Paris, in 2004 and toured nationally
with acts including Interpol, Regurgitator, Wolfmother, and The Mint Chicks.
Their self-titled debut album followed in 2006 on Dot Dash Records, earning
critical praise and several WAMi Awards. The band released The Horse, The Rat
and The Swan in 2008, which topped Mess and Noise’s end-of-year critics’ poll.
