SND
Snd is an English musical duo from Sheffield consisting of Mark Fell and Mat
Steel. The pair, who are also computer programmers, debuted with the single
"Tplay" (1998) and the EP Newtables (1999) on their own .snd label. Their first
album, Makesnd Cassette (1999), was released by Mille Plateaux, followed by
Stdiosnd Types (2000). Snd released further albums such as Tender Love (2002)
and Atavism (2009) on Raster-Noton. Notable singles include "Systems Medley"
(2000), "Planets" (2000) and "4,5,6" (2008). In 2014, Snd self-published an
extended and remastered version of their debut...
