Slim Smith

Keith Smith, known professionally as Slim Smith, was born in 1948 in Jamaica and is a reggae singer and musician. His career began with the group The Techniques, recording early tracks such as "Don't Do It" for Byron Lee before joining The Uniques, where he released the R&B‑influenced single "Do Me Good" in 1966. In 1969, he signed with Studio One and achieved hits like "The New Boss" and "Hip Hug". He released the album Everybody Needs Love (1969), which solidified his popularity, followed by Just A Dream (1972) and Born to Love (1979). He passed away on October 9, 1973.
