Following in the footsteps of local heroes Scorpions and Accept, the German
metal band Sinner released a series of albums in the early 1980s that combined
instrumental skill with the raw, unbridled energy of heavy metal music. The band
was founded in Stuttgart in 1980 by bassist and singer Mat Sinner, who has
remained the only constant member throughout their decades-long career. That
