Showbiz and A.G. is an American hip hop duo from The Bronx, New York City,
composed of record producer Rodney "Showbiz" Lemay and rapper Andre "A.G."
Barnes. They formed in 1990 after appearing on Lord Finesse's Funky Technician
album with the song "Back to Back Rhyming". Their debut release was the extended
play Soul Clap, self-released in late 1991 via their own independent record
label, Showbiz Records. The duo signed with Payday/London Records and
