Jung Pil-kyo, professionally known as Shin Hye-sung, was born on November 27,
1979, in Seoul, South Korea. He rose to fame as the main vocalist of the iconic
South Korean boy band Shinhwa. He debuted with Shinhwa on March 24, 1998, with
their single "해결사" (The Solver), and has since built a catalog with the group
including thirteen Korean and one Japanese studio album releases. Shin Hye-sung
