Shakila
Shakila is an Iranian singer and songwriter born as Shakila Mohseni Sedaghat on
3 May 1962 in Tehran. She achieved professional recognition after performing on
Iranian television at age nine and later studying music at Palomar College in
San Diego. Her recording career began with the debut studio recording Kami Ba
Man Modaaraa Kon (1990). After signing with Taraneh Records in 1993, she
released the studio recording Gheybate Noor (1993). Between 1997 and 2008, she
