An Italian singer with South American influences, Serena Brancale was born in
Bari (Apulia) on May 4, 1989. The daughter of a footballer, she learned the
violin and piano as a child, then singing at the Bari Conservatory, where she
obtained a diploma in jazz. After studying graphic design, she moved to Rome and
took part in the X Factor TV show in 2009, before forming the Serena
Branquartet, which recorded a live album released in 2011. In 2015, Serena
Brancale took part in the Sanremo Festival for the first time with the song
