Real name Gaze Betty Marie Gaëlle Blanchy, singer Sega¨el hails from the Brûlé
district of Saint-Denis de la Réunion, on Reunion Island (France). The daughter
of musicians, her father a drummer and her mother a backing singer, she found
her vocation early on, performing on stage from the age of six. After completing
her studies, she turned to singing and recorded her first self-produced album,
Mi Rèv (2012), including the hit "Plèr pa frinka", which launched her career at
