Seden Gürel, born Nadire Seden Kutlubay on September 12, 1965, in Ankara,
Turkey, is a Turkish pop singer. In 1986, she was set to represent Turkey at the
Eurovision Song Contest with the band Klips ve Onlar but withdrew due to
personal reasons. Her second solo song "Devlerin Aşkı" brought her initial
recognition. In 1992, Gürel released her debut album Bir Yudum Sevgi, followed
by Aklımı Çelme in 1994 and Muhtemelen in 1996. Her collaboration with Sezen
Aksu on the song "Çalkala" became one of her most successful hits. After a
hiatus, she returned in 2002 with the album Hesaplaş...
