Sasha Berliner
Sasha Berliner, born on June 20, 1998, in San Francisco, California, is an
American vibraphonist and composer. He began playing drums at age eight before
switching to vibraphone at 13 after an audition at the Oakland School for the
Arts. She recorded the EP Gold at 16, then moved to New York to study at the New
School for Jazz and Contemporary Music, where she attended the Banff
International Workshop in 2017 and joined composer Tyshawn Sorey’s sextet.
Berliner’s debut album, Azalea, was released in 2019, followed by Sasha
