Sarah Nixey is an English singer-songwriter born in 1973. Nixey began a career
as the vocalist for the group Black Box Recorder, formed by John Moore and Luke
Haines. Their recordings include the debut album England Made Me (1998) and the
album The Facts of Life (2000), which featured the single “The Facts of Life”
(2000) that reached number 20 on the charts. Nixey began a solo career with the
album Sing, Memory (2007). Their discography includes the albums Brave Tin
