Russ Hamilton
Ronald Hulme, also known as Russ Hamilton, was born on January 19, 1932, in
Everton, Liverpool, and was an English singer‑songwriter who began his career as
a cost clerk. His breakthrough came in 1957 with the single "We Will Make Love",
which peaked at number 2 on the UK Singles Chart, while its B‑side "Rainbow"
reached number 4 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and sold over one million copies,
earning a gold disc. He released the Top 20 single "Wedding Ring" in 1957 and
the album Rainbows in 1958. In 1960, he signed with MGM Records in Nashville,
recording "Gonna Find Me a Bluebird"...
