The Japanese indie-folk band Roth Bart Baron was formed in 2008 by singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Masaya Mifune. Based in Tokyo, Japan, and named after a character in Tchaikovsky's legendary ballet Swan Lake, Roth Bart Baron made its recorded debut with a self-titled EP, Roth Bart Baron, in 2010. After the release of a follow-up EP and several stand-alone singles, a full-length debut album named Roth Bart Baron's "The Ice Age" arrived in 2014.
