Rory Gallagher
Rory Gallagher was an Irish singer, guitarist and songwriter, born on March 2,
1948 in Ballyshannon (County Donegal) and died on June 14, 1995 in London
(England), of complications following a liver transplant. A member of the group
Taste in the late 1960s, he embarked on a solo career at the beginning of the
following decade, during which he developed a passion for the blues, served by a
virtuoso instrumental technique. True to his blues-rock roots, he left behind a
