Roman Kostrzewski, born Roman Ryszard Kostrzewski on February 15, 1960, in
Poland, was a Polish heavy metal musician. He was the lead vocalist and lyricist
of the band KAT, joining the group after meeting its members at the 1st edition
of the Silesian Rock Festival in Bytom. In 1984 KAT became one of the standout
acts at the Jarocin Festival, and the band released its debut album 666 in 1985,
followed by the English-language version Metal and Hell in 1986. Despite lineup
