Robert Metcalf
Robert Metcalf, born in 1947 in Birmingham, is a British-German singer and
songwriter. After completing his law studies, he moved to Berlin in 1973 for an
internship, which marked the start of his work and musical career in the city.
After studying social pedagogy, Metcalf worked in drug counseling before
transitioning into music in 1991 as a freelance singer-songwriter. His debut
album, Robert ist da, was released in 1995, marking the beginning of his
prolific career as a Liedermacher. Throughout the late 1990s and early 2000s,
