Robert Bowlin
Robert Bowlin, born on September 22, 1956 in Pocahontas, Arkansas is an American
bluegrass guitarist and singer. He began playing ukulele at age one and guitar
by five. He earned second place in the 1978 National Guitar Flat Pick
Championship at the Walnut Valley Festival, then first place in the 1979 Finger
Style Guitar Championship. Bowlin played with Maura O'Connell and Kathy Mattea,
appeared on Austin City Limits, and joined Bill Monroe's Bluegrass Boys from
1993 to 1996, performing at the Grand Ole Opry. He released his debut CD, Six
