Without being overly publicized, symphonic metal is attracting more and more
fans throughout Europe. Bands are springing up all over the continent, from
France to the Netherlands, from Sweden to Italy, like Rhapsody of Fire. Formed
in 1993, Rhapsody of Fire debuted with Legendary Tales in 1997. Dawn of Victory
in 2000 was their first success, and the album also made the SNEP charts in
France. Power of the Dragonflame (2002), Symphony of Enchanted Lands II: The
