Raymond Eberle, born January 19, 1919, in Mechanicville, New York, was an American singer. He began his career in the late 1930s when Glenn Miller hired him as a vocalist for his big band after hearing about Ray from his brother Bob Eberly. Eberle's breakthrough came with hits like "At Last" and "Polka Dots and Moonbeams". He appeared in films such as Sun Valley Serenade (1941) and Orchestra Wives (1942), and led his own orchestras, including The Ray Eberle Orchestra.
