Raheem Jarbo, also known as Random and later Mega Ran, was born on September 3,
1977, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is an American underground nerdcore
rapper, chiptune DJ, author, and record producer. Jarbo wrote his first song in
1993 and began producing music in 2000. After graduating from Penn State with a
bachelor's degree, he worked as a special education teacher while pursuing his
