Francisco Manuel Ruiz Gómez, known professionally as Queco, was born on December
1, 1964, in Córdoba, Spain. He is a singer, producer, composer, and music
promoter. At age twelve, Queco was already performing in festivals and peñas
flamencas. His career initially focused on pop and flamenco-infused music, with
notable albums including Viva el amor (1982) and La cuarta luna (1990). After a
severe car accident in 1990, Queco transitioned to composing and producing for
