Pumpkinhead
Robert Alan Diaz was an American rapper from Brooklyn born on September 17,
1975. Known professionally as Pumpkinhead, he began writing rap lyrics at age 10
after hearing the song "Nightmares" by Dana Dane. He was influenced by musicians
including Redman, Doug E. Fresh, and 2Pac. Diaz reached wider visibility in 1997
with the single "Dynamic", which appeared on the compilation recording The World
Famous Beat Junkies, Vol. 2 (1998). His recording career included the debut
studio recording The Old Testament (2001) followed by the studio recording
