Praful
Ulrich Schröder, known professionally as Praful, was born on January 1, 1964, in
Germany. He began his musical journey at a young age, learning the recorder,
flute, and electronic organ. In 1987, he moved to the Netherlands to study jazz
saxophone and flute. After graduating, Schröder spent six months in India,
adopting the spiritual name 'Praful.' He then traveled to Brazil, incorporating
Samba influences into his music. Upon returning to Amsterdam, he worked with
Brazilian and Latin groups. In 1999, Schröder joined Project 2000, a drum and
