Planningtorock
Janine Rostron, born 25 January 1972 in Bolton, United Kingdom, emerged as the
English electronic musician and record producer known by the stage name
Planningtorock, operating as a DJ and vocalist. Rostron launched the independent
label Rostron Records in 2004, releasing the Eins EP and the compilation
Carousel of Souls that included tracks from The Knife and The Soft Pink Truth,
establishing a DIY presence. The breakthrough came with the 2006 signing to
Chicks on Speed’s label, where the limited‑edition single "Changes" / "I Wanna
