PISCES
Pisces was an American psychedelic rock band formed in Rockford, Illinois, in
1967. The group's core members were Paul DiVenti on keyboards and vocals, and
Jim Krein on lead guitar, with later additions of rhythm guitarist and vocalist
Dale Taylor, drummer Carl Van Laningham, and banjoist and bassist Red Balderama.
In 1968, the band released the singles “Motley Mary Ann” and “A Homesick
Feelin’” under Vincent Records. The vocalist Linda Bruner subsequently joined
the group, singing lead on several tracks, including the single “Sam”, which was
released in 1969 under the name Brune...
