Wonga Philip Harris, also known as Phil Harris, born on June 24, 1904, in
Linton, Indiana, was an American singer-songwriter, jazz musician, actor, and
comedian. He started his career as a drummer in San Francisco during the late
1920s, forming an orchestra with Carol Lofner at the Hotel St. Francis. In 1936,
Harris became the musical director for The Jell-O Show Starring Jack Benny,
where he also performed as a vocalist and actor. His notable singles include
