Pete Eemeli Parkkonen, born 8 February 1990, emerged from a musical family and gained exposure through Idol competition, where he finished third in 2009. He launched his recording career with the single "Girl in a Uniform" February 2009, followed by "The Final Day" April. His debut album The First Album was released 9 March 2009 and debuted at number one on the Albums Chart, selling 24,000 copies and earning gold certification.
