Peste & Sida
Peste & Sida is a Portuguese punk rock band formed in the summer of 1986 in
Lisbon, Portugal, by members including João San Payo, Luís Varatojo, and João
Pedro Almendra. They released their debut studio album, Veneno, in 1987 on
Transmédia, followed by Portem-se bem in 1989, which featured the single “Homem
de sorte”. Their subsequent studio albums include Peste & Sida é que é! in 1990
and Eles andam aí! in 1992, alongside the 1993 compilation O melhor dos Peste &
