Pepsi & Shirlie are an English pop duo formed in London in 1985, consisting of
Helen "Pepsi" DeMacque and Shirlie Holliman. Born on December 10, 1958, in
Paddington, London, and April 18, 1962, in Watford, Hertfordshire respectively,
both women initially served as backing vocalists for the popular band Wham!. In
1987, they released their debut single "Heartache", produced by Phil Fearon and
Tambi Fernando. The song reached number 2 on the UK Singles Chart and peaked at
