Pedro Machado Abrunhosa was born in Porto, Portugal on 20 December 1960 and
emerged as a singer, songwriter, and composer. Trained in jazz, he began
performing with jazz bands in the 1980s and taught at music schools before
co‑founding the Jazz School of Porto. His solo breakthrough came in 1994 with
