Axel Ehnström, born 23 October 1990 in Kirkkonummi, Finland, is a Finnish
singer‑songwriter who performs under the name Paradise Oskar. He began writing
songs around age ten, drawing influence from folk‑pop artists such as Jimmy Webb
and Bruce Springsteen, and first released the single "Da Da Dam" in
February 2011 after winning the national Eurovision selection. The track, a
guitar ballad about a boy leaving to protect the planet, propelled him to
represent Finland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 in Düsseldorf, where he
