Özlem Tekin, born on November 18, 1971, in California, United States of America,
is a Turkish singer, songwriter, and occasional actress renowned for her dynamic
musical evolution. Raised in Ankara, she studied classical Western music at
Hacettepe University, specialising in clarinet. Her musical journey began in the
underground rock scene with the band The Bad, followed by a stint as the
keyboardist and occasional lead vocalist for the all-female rock band Volvox. In
