Ole Kock Hansen, born Ole Hansen on April 19, 1945, in Osager, Denmark, is a
Danish jazz pianist, composer, and orchestra leader. He played with Finn Savery
and was trained at the Copenhagen Conservatory. Hansen's professional career
started in 1965, and by 1967, he had become a member of the Danish Radio Jazz
Groups. In 1968, he joined Danmarks Radios Big Band as a pianist and later
became its principal conductor in 1986. Throughout his career, Hansen
collaborated with notable artists such as Niels-Henning Ørsted Pedersen, Thad
Jones, Ben Webster, Jesper Thilo, Palle Mikkelborg,...
