Ola Magnell
Ola Magnell, born Nils Olaus Lennart Karl Magnell on January 20, 1946, in Skälby
gård, Kalmar, Sweden, was a Swedish singer-songwriter and guitarist. He started
performing as a troubadour during his high school years and eventually began
writing his own songs, influenced by early 1960s rock and contemporary American
singer-songwriters. Magnell began his career as a lyricist for artists such as
Siw Malmkvist and Lill Lindfors. Throughout his career, he released several
albums, including Höstkänning (1977), Onkel Knut (1984), and Neurotikas Motell
