Ola Kvernberg
Ola Kvernberg is a Norwegian jazz violinist and composer. Born on June 16, 1981
in Fræna Municipality, Norway, he began playing folk music at an early age and
received classical training through the municipal music school. His first record
release was with the band Fear of Flying in 1995. Kvernberg's breakthrough came
in 2000 during the annual Django Festival in Oslo, Norway, where he jammed with
Toots Thielemans, leading to the release of the album Hot Club de Norvege
