Panagiotis "Notis" Sfakianakis, born on November 2, 1959, in Greece, is a singer
known for his contributions to folk, pop and rock music genres. After his
parents' divorce, he moved to the island of Kos with his mother and later spent
time in Germany before returning to Crete. Sfakianakis began his career in 1985
by opening for national acts like Poly Panou, but it was his discovery by Kostas
Bourmas of Sony Greece that marked a significant breakthrough. His debut album
